Since I went to Puerto Vallarta last year, I’ve been thinking about doing a feature on butch swimsuits and how to wear something both comfortable and masculine and sexy and flattering. I think it was on Dani Campbell, famous “futch” on that Tila Tequila show, where Dani was relaxing by the pool in swim trunks and a sports bra-type top, and she looked so natural, not awkward or girly hiding in boy’s clothes, not like the sports bra was out of place, but really butch, like all those elements were supposed to go together.

And when I saw this shot on Flickr, and Jordan’s other shot Summer!, I had the same thought. I don’t know if she identifies as butch, but the combination of masculinity and femaleness is gorgeous, natural, effortless, and damn hot.
