More on a Femme’s Versatility
Urban Crawler, subject and photographer, has this to say:
“I’ve done both “femme” and “butch” identities at different times in my life and I think I’m finally comfortable with who I am. I now have more fun with fashion, and will change things up all depending on the day, occasion, and mostly my mood at any moment. I can look fabulous in both a tie and a vest or a little halter top and heels…so does that make me a “tomboy femme”? It seems new labels spring up all the time…who can keep up with them all?”
Also: come on femmes, don’t let yourselves be under-represented! You need just as much love as all the hot butches on QEC, so start sending in your pics!

Ok.. my answer to the question “so does that make me …” is Hot, it makes you Hawt no matter what you choose to wear that day. Wear it with confidence and sass and you’ll be hotter than hot.

I enjoy seeing people of all genders, thanks. And I myself find myself just as happy in a wifebeater or a tie as I do in a skirt and halter top. Some days I mix it up and wear my button down shirt with my hot pink and purple sneakers. You don’t have to pick the label, just be you. And you are beautiful.
And I might add, being featured for a femme friday helped me really claim my femme identity. This is a wonderful site and very affirming.
I totally understand where you’re coming from, I’m exactly the same. My mood is the only thing that dictates what I wear when I get up in a morning.
